I had in mind the same for these new PCs but to my surprise its not working. hp prodesk 800 g2 but no issue faced when I integrated usb 3.0 drivers into OS image, windows 7 was installed smoothly on those. I had same problem with a little older PCs e.g. I tried windows 7 using DVD and bootable usb via all usb 2.0 ports and then also merged usb 3 extensible host controller drivers using DISM into the OS image and again tried with disk and bootable usb on all usb 2 and usb 3 ports and still no keyboard and mouse access. Now main reason for not having mouse and keyboard access while running windows 7 installation is due to the usb 2.0 and usb 3.0 problem. ![]() ![]() Those PCs have no issue installing windows 10. ![]() I know about Microsoft support for windows 7 ending and all that but my office has some software that is only compatible to windows 7 and on windows 10 they take forever to load. Recently I bought some new PCs Model: hp 600 g3 sff and tried to install windows 7 on those.
